These past couple of weeks found us taking our first real break from the tiny house project since starting it in September. Gabby had her hands full with pre-K screening while I was on the road to present at the American Camp Association (ACA) Midstates Conference, and then straight into the field for a week to teach a Wilderness Education Association (WEA) Outdoor Living Skills course. Right after that we headed to the Association for Experiential Education (AEE) Heartland Region Conference. Upon returning home, we were both ready to get a tape measure back in our hands!
The time away allowed us an opportunity for some reflection. We’ve said all along what a blast we’ve been having and what a blessing this project has been in our lives. Being able to step back and take a look at the experience has solidified those feelings. We’ve received such positive energy and feedback from many, many people who learned of our project through the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company Blog. What’s more, the community that has come together to support our adventure has been humbling. We wanted to take a moment, as we take this deep breath, and say a heart-felt and gracious Thank You. We appreciate everyone who is with us on this exciting journey! Now- Back to it!
