Continuing the interior wall framing, little by little, after work each day this week. Tonight we built one of our tiny closets!
While framing this particular closet, we began debating our plan for accessibility to the sleeping area. Tumbleweed houses tend to have some sort of a ladder to access the loft. Some ladders we’ve seen are lean-to style, others more built into a wall. We are considering something more like the latter, though I’m not gonna lie: I get a twinkle in my eye when I think about creating the access with climbing holds.
This topic came up in conversation this evening because the closet we put together will most likely be the wall we use to construct our access point. Never too early to start dreaming!
