The walls are up and sheathed with plywood, and now to brace them we have put in the cross beams that frame up the floor of the sleeping loft. We have expanded the loft out into the ‘Great’ Room a little farther than the plans called for. Our loft will be almost 9 feet long, allowing the capability for us to build storage shelves at the foot of the loft for clothing organization and storage. Looking at Jay Shafer’s Tiny Houses you quickly realize that the secret to tiny house success is making the absolute most of every opportunity to utilize space conservatively and wisely. We plan to do just that in the loft!
While I worked with Larry Davis to put up the 2×4 Loft Floor, Gabby built our cedar deck with her Momma. It was a great wrap for a VERY successful day/weekend!
